Vegas Test—Skil Oscillating Tool

Tester
In Las Vegas, it was fun to read the faces of the four lucky Top Tool Testers reviewing tools now in the Product Test Shop. Recall that these three guys — and one gal — won a free trip to the 2011 National Hardware Show, which started yesterday and ends tomorrow.

The Top Tool Testers didn't say it, but you could almost see them thinking when they saw the Skil Multi-Tasker, "Oh, one more oscillating tool to add to the mix."

Well, the testers found that the Multi-Tasker wasn't just part of the mix but a step above the rest in the category in one important way: the price ($99).

The testers found the Multi-Tasker to be a versatile tool for light- to medium-duty fix-ups, such as leveling off door jambs or for adding vent holes and electrical outlets. It's also good for sanding small furniture pieces, removing grout and scraping paint off of windows, doors and furniture.
